Application Task

Shit is getting real! You’re very close to your first few sales. Remember that you do not have to have your product ready yet. Your idea is to investigate whether people will actually buy your product. Your first sale doesn’t have to be pretty either. Its, however, the ultimate approval that customers will buy your product. Once this is done, you may move straight to prototyping.

Application Task – B2C

  1. Think about your value proposition and how to reveal it best
  2. Create a couple of visuals and texts describing your value proposition
  3. Put them on a website using either
    • Templates such as WIX or Strikingly, or
    • Template codes such as Foundry, which has an in built drag and drop builder, or Canva, using this tutorial for both
  4. Install Google Analytics and / or Hotjar
  5. Get as many of your identified customer group on your website and convert them
    • If you are unsure of your target customers and their needs, go back to 1 Customer Discovery
    • If you are sure about your target customers and their needs, but not your solution, go back to 2 Ideation
  6. Analyse behaviour and either iterate or optimise
